Cranbrook Historic House, Bloomfield Hills, MI: Flaking paint, the result of water leaks, was treated by applying adhesive into each individual insecurity, followed by protecting the entire surface with tissue. This kind of treatment, followed by proper restoration results in the maintenance of a unique historic design without compromising its original presentation surface by overpainting.
